Portly Pig Studios is an artistic stop motion production company based in Portland, Oregon.
For our more traditional work, we produce the whole animation. From story development, story boards, building the sets and puppets, to the animation and the musical score. The Painter's Sign was done in two weeks time, and the animation for Imperaphobia was filmed and installed in a little over 1 week's time.
If you are looking for something a little less traditional and more on the artistic side, we do huge interactive art installations, complete with moving parts and complex philosophies. A Body Of Secrets was installed and performed at California College of the Arts in San Francisco; the technical documentary is here. Imperaphobia was installed at University Of Southern California in Los Angeles.
